Surah Yaseen (Yasin) – The Heart of the Quran (سورۃ یٰس)
Surah Yaseen (Yasin)is the 36th chapter of the Holy Quran and is famously known as the “Heart of the Quran” according to the Hadith of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. It consists of 83 verses and was revealed in Makkah during the early period of Prophethood. This Makki Surah is one of the most beloved and frequently recited chapters of the Quran.
It powerfully addresses the themes of Tawhid (Oneness of Allah), the resurrection, the Day of Judgment, and the consequences of rejecting the truth. The Surah also highlights the mission of the Prophets and gives comfort to the believers while warning those who deny the signs of Allah. Millions of Muslims recite Surah Yaseen daily for blessings, ease in affairs, and for the deceased.
