Surah Al Lail

The Surah opens with a series of oaths by the night, the day, and the creation of male and female, highlighting natural opposites to introduce the concept of moral choices.
Surah Al-Lail then distinguishes between two types of people:
1. Those who give, are conscious of Allah, and believe in goodness—Allah promises to make their path easy.
2. Those who withhold, deny, and reject truth—Allah warns that their path will be filled with hardship.
The Surah ends by reassuring that guidance is in Allah’s control, and the ultimate reward—Jannah (Paradise)—is for the sincere and generous.
