Surah Al Isra

Surah Al Isra (سورة الإسراء), also known as Surah Bani Israil, is the 17th chapter of the Holy Quran. It was revealed in Makkah and contains 111 verses across 12 rukus, located in Juz 15.
The Surah is named after the miraculous night journey (Al-Isra) of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ from Masjid al-Haram (Makkah) to Masjid al-Aqsa (Jerusalem). This journey was followed by Al-Mi’raj, the ascension to the heavens. Surah Al-Isra emphasizes the honor of the Quran, the responsibilities of believers, and the fate of nations who disobeyed their prophets.
